President Trump is winning and the media hates him for it. He is winning and while they focus on the short-term disruptions that are inevitable, Trump is crushing the long game.
His strategy to shake up the status quo to reflect the new reality of a hyper-competitive world where we are no longer so far ahead that we could stand by as China stole our technology and jobs is the right one.
We lifted them out of poverty and created a monster and while that will go down in history as a huge blunder what would be worse is to let it keep happening.
We have a strategic advantage and we have been good partners with China but we have to draw the line in the sand – no more stealing our intellectual IP.
Trump is doing what needs to be done and no one else would have had the courage to do it and when he succeeds this will go down as one of the greatest acts of any presidency.
For it will save and cement our leadership position in the world.
The same is happening on illegal immigration – say what you want about the tactics – Trump is making historic changes for the better.
Take what is happening in Mexico – they are taking the asylum seekers and offering them jobs and now the new Mexican president is announcing his plan to help stop illegal immigration once and for all.
Do you think he would have done this for Mitt Romney? Of course not.
From The Daily Wire: Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has unveiled a new plan to curtail illegal immigration to the United States by focusing on creating economic “free zones” along the U.S.-Mexico border.
López Obrador, a leftist, announced the Tax Incentive Decree for the Northern Border Region which will create free zones near the border that are over 15 miles wide and will reportedly encompass approximately 2,000 miles. The San Diego Union-Tribune reports that the free zones will:
“It’s going to be the biggest free zone in the world,” Lopez Obrador said. “It is very important to project for winning investment, creating jobs and taking advantage of the economic strength of the United States.”
“Proponents of the president’s ‘free zone’ plan believe it would reduce the incentive for Mexicans to migrate to the U.S. and increase competition among local businesses,” Fox News reported.
